Wow...26th Annual
was a HUGE success!!
We had
the largest crowd ever and lots of fun. The weather was
superb!
We presented the St. George Island Volunteer
Fire Department
& First Responder Unit with a check for nearly $100,000!!! Thank you!!!
The
Island continues to grow and with this the fire/rescue requirements
become more stringent. The expenses of
running the department
are ongoing and it is because of everyone's
generosity
that we can continue to serve the island.
Please remember
these are all volunteers and
they give their time graciously.
We
hope to see you at our 27th Annual Chili Cook-off & Auction
on Saturday, March 7, 2009.
